Partial play-by-play:

Frank Castillo tossed 4.2 strong innings before getting hit on the right hand with a line drive off the bat of Jason Tyner. Castillo did not appear to be seriously injured.

Troy O’Leary smacked a two-run homer off Rupe in the bottom of the third.

Shea Hilenbrand added a solo shot off Doug Creek in the seventh.

The Rangers got their only run on Ben Grieve’s solo homer in the fourth.
