Partial play-by-play:
Red Sox 4th: Steve Lomasney hit a home run. Gambino had a two-run triple.
Red Sox 5th: Mike Neill hit a two-run home run on a 2-2 curveball.
BC 6th: Mike Neill threw out a runner at the plate. Also, former Boston College infielder Mike Gambino made a nice play up the middle to rob former teammate Scott Lemone of a hit.
The five runs scored by Boston College were the most the Eagles have ever scored in a game in the nine-year history of the Red Sox series. The Red Sox have now outscored BC 101-13 since the series began in 1993.
Manny Ramirez went hitless in his only at-bat, but recorded an RBI with groundout to short.
