SARASOTA, Florida (Ticker) — Sean Casey homered, doubled and tripled to lead an 11-hit attack as the Cincinnati Reds pulled away for a 7-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox in a Grapefruit League game.

Casey hit a two-run blast in the first inning off starter Derek Lowe.  Ken Griffey Jr. added two hits and scored twice for the Reds, who got two stolen bases apiece from Juan Encarnacion and Aaron Boone.

Cincinnati starter Jimmy Haynes got his second spring win, allowing three runs and five hits in six innings with a walk and four strikeouts.  Luis Pineda, Gabe White and Danny Graves combined on three hitless innings.

Lowe struggled for five innings, allowing four runs, five hits and four walks while striking out six.  Casey Fossum was reached for three runs — two earned — and five hits in two innings.

Johnny Damon had a double and a sacrifice fly for Boston.
