Boston 1st — Lewis leads off with a home run. Stynes grounds out third to first. Hatteberg singles to left center. Everett strikes out swinging. O’Leary strikes out swinging.

Houston 1st — Lugo strikes out. Bggio lines a single to left on an 0-2 pitch. With Bagwell batting, Biggio steals second, and goes to third as Hatteberg’s throw goes into centerfield. Bagwell walks. With Berkman batting, Bagwell steals second. Berkman strikes out swinging. Ward flies out to left.

Boston 2nd — Hillenbrand grounds out third to first. Daubach grounds out to first unassisted. Lansing lines out to right field.

Houston 2nd — Truby pops out to shortstop. Eusebio singles to right. Barker safe on a bunt single, Eusebio to second. McKnight sacrifices runners to second and third. Lugo lines out to Lewis in right field.

Boston 3rd — Nomo strikes out. Lewis singles. Stynes hits a ground rule double to right, Lewis to third. Hatteberg grounds out second to first, Lewis scores, Stynes to third. Everett doubles down the right field line, Stynes scores. O’Leary grounds out shortstop to first.

Houston 3rd — Biggio doubles on a bloop pop up that lands in between Daubach, Stynes and Lewis. Bagwell strikes out. Berkman walks. Ward grounds into a double play Stynes-Lansing-Daubach.
